What’s On Day 4 at Australian Garden Show Sydney

It’s the fourth and final day of the Australian Garden Show Sydney. If you haven’t visited us already, today’s your last chance! Come down today for a huge program of events all day at Centennial Park. It’s much cooler today, perfect for Sunday wandering and admiring the garden displays.

Seeds of Wisdom Talks

11am – Chef Kylie Kwong hosts a live cooking demonstration on locally bred edible insects and native bush foods

1.15pm – Charlie Albone & Phillip Johnson ‘Chelsea’s Greatest Garden’. Hear all about the journey of Phillip Johnson’s first ever Australian Best In Show at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in 2013

2.45pm – Brendan Moar, Indira Naidoo, Andrew Fisher Tomlin, Kim Ellis and Myles Baldwin – chat about the joys of bringing this garden show to Sydney, and plans for the future

11am – Matthew Carroll (Hortiman) talks about how to implement the Australian Garden Show inspiration at your place

12.30pm – Angus Stewart talks about how to grow your plants for free and enjoy the satisfaction that comes from doing it yourself in ‘Let’s Propagate’

1.15pm – Josh Harrison (Harrison’s Landscaping) – ‘The Balcony Garden Revolution’ – It’s time for balcony dwellers to stand up and reclaim their garden! Join Josh as he discusses balcony friendly plants and how-tos

2pm – Adrian Swain (Ecodesign)  talks current trends in landscape and swimming pool design, and how to work them into your backyard

10.30am – Martin Boetz – The ex-Longrain chef talks about his latest project, Cooks Co-Op

11.15pm – Steven Batley ‘Vertical Aquawhatics?’ Aquaponics! Learn all about this brilliant urban food growing system here

12pm- Meredith Kirton (Grow Harvest Cook) talks about how to start your own veggie patch, and then use your produce into delicious recipes

12.45pm – Judith Schulz (Circles of Learning) – Judith will share top tips on kid’s nutrition, complete with tactile activities to keep the little ones entertained

1.30pm – Craig Duckmanton (Nature of Life) – Craig chats recreating the outside home spaces, and how to make a home that works for everyone

2.15pm – Blogger Brenda Janschek talks about creating healthy kid’s lunch boxes using seasonal produce

3pm – Edward Warburton (Greenwall Australia) presents an educational talk on the ins and outs of building a green wall at home

Demonstrations and Workshops

Join paddock to plate cooking demonstrations all day in the Lindeman’s Open Garden, floral design and photography workshops in the Grand Floral Pavilion, ask all your plant questions at the Ross Garden Clinic, and enjoy a bite to eat in one of the outdoor garden restaurants.
